Day by Day Itinerary
Cappadocia Green Tour (Ihlara & Canyon)
Meal: Lunch
09:30 am ─ Pick-up from your hotel for the final day. We head southwest for a nature-focused tour.
- Esentepe Panorama Point is a great lookout over Goreme. Perfect for taking panoramic photos of the landscape.
- Derinkuyu or Kaymakli Underground City is a must-see. We will visit one of these massive underground cities (depending on density) to see how thousands of people survived underground.
- Ihlara Valley is the deepest canyon in the region. We will enjoy a refreshing walk along the Melendiz River, surrounded by green trees and cliffs.
- Belisirma Village is located in the middle of the canyon. We will have a relaxing lunch here by the river.
- Yaprakhisar Panorama is often called the “Star Wars” set due to its conical rock formations. It is a fantastic final photo opportunity.

Coming from Malaysia, this landscape is so different for us. It was mesmerizing. The 3-day tour covers everything. Red for the classic rocks, Green for the canyon and underground city, Yellow for the hidden valleys. Perfect itinerary.

I'm glad we booked the combo. Dealing with tickets and transport ourselves would have been a nightmare. This was stress-free. We just sat in the van and enjoyed the views. The Red Valley sunset (part of Yellow tour day) was the highlight of our entire Turkey trip.
It was a lot of walking but good exercise. Wear comfortable shoes! The underground city is amazing. The Yellow tour views are spectacular. Great photo ops.
My husband and I loved it. The guides were very respectful and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Christianity and Islam in the region. The 3-day pace is perfect, not too frantic. The lunch spots were clean and had good options.
