Day by Day Itinerary
Cappadocia Yellow Tour & Return Bus to Ankara
Meal: Breakfast and Lunch
09:30 am ─ Breakfast and check-out (we will store your luggage). We pick you up for the Cappadocia Yellow Tour to explore the south valleys.
- Red & Rose Valleys – These valleys are famous for their vibrant colors that change with the sun. We will take a pleasant walk to see the red tuff cliffs, vineyards, and hidden rock churches.
- Cavusin Village – We visit this historic village with its massive cliff face honeycombed with abandoned cave dwellings. It offers a glimpse into the life of the old Greek community.
- Lunch Break – Enjoy a relaxing lunch break.
- Pigeon Valley – A stunning panoramic stop. You will see thousands of pigeon houses carved into the white cliffs, historically used to collect fertilizer for vineyards.
- Ozkonak Underground City – Our final adventure takes us underground. Built on the slopes of Mt. Idis, this city features unique defensive holes above the tunnels and massive stone doors used for protection.
17:00 ─ Tour ends.
We transfer you to the Cappadocia Bus Station.
18:00 – 19:00 ─ You board the bus back to Ankara.

A very solid tour option. Everything was as advertised. The bus was clean and air-conditioned (essential in summer!), and the hotel was lovely. The Salt Lake stop is a great bonus that breaks up the drive nicely. Cappadocia itself is a wonder of the world and this tour does it justice by giving you two full days to explore it.
We did this tour as a couple and found it to be very romantic, especially the overnight stay in the cave room. The winter scenery was stark and beautiful. The tour covers a lot of ground, from the dizzying heights of Uchisar Castle to the deep tunnels of the underground city. The guide was excellent at managing the group dynamics and ensuring everyone had a good time.
I was surprised by how comfortable the bus ride was; the seats were spacious and we had regular breaks. Arriving in Cappadocia and seeing the fairy chimneys for the first time is a moment I won't forget. The itinerary is packed but manageable, and our guide, Mehmet, made sure we stayed on schedule without rushing us. The onyx workshop visit was interesting, seeing how they craft the stones into jewelry.
La excursión de dos días desde Ankara fue la mejor decisión de nuestro viaje. El Lago Salado es impresionante, un inmenso desierto blanco. En Capadocia, visitamos todos los valles importantes y el museo al aire libre. Tener el alojamiento incluido facilitó mucho las cosas. La cena en el hotel fue deliciosa y el desayuno muy completo. Volveremos sin duda.
Un'esperienza indimenticabile. Il viaggio in autobus da Ankara è stato lungo ma confortevole. La Cappadocia è un luogo magico, sembra di essere su un altro pianeta. La nostra guida parlava un ottimo inglese ed era molto appassionata. Abbiamo amato l'hotel in grotta, era molto romantico e particolare. Consiglio vivamente questo tour di due giorni per vedere tutto con calma.
