- Devrent (Imagination) Valley – Walk among strange rock shapes that look like animals and objects. With a little imagination, you can see camels, dolphins and many other figures formed naturally from the soft volcanic stone.
- Paşabağ (Monks Valley) – See some of the best examples of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, with multiple caps and carved hermit cells. Your guide explains how monks once lived and prayed in these unusual rock towers.
- Zelve Open Air Museum – Explore an abandoned cave town with rock-cut houses, churches and tunnels carved into three valleys. This area shows how people lived in cave settlements until the middle of the 20th century.
- Avanos & Kızılırmak (Red River) – Visit the pottery town of Avanos, famous since Hittite times for its red clay. You watch a pottery workshop and can try shaping the clay on the wheel during this Cappadocia tour.
- Göreme Panoramic View – Stop at a high viewpoint to enjoy wide views of Göreme and the surrounding valleys. It is a perfect place for photos of the unique Cappadocia landscape dotted with fairy chimneys.
- Uçhisar Castle (exterior view) – See the natural rock castle that rises above Cappadocia. From the base of the castle you can take photos and learn about the strategic role of Uçhisar in the region.
Lunch at a local restaurant is included during the tour, giving you the chance to taste Turkish home-style dishes in a relaxed setting.
At the end of the day around 17:00, you are transferred back to your hotel. Free evening to relax, join a Turkish night show (optional) or explore the town on your own. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Cappadocia Yellow Tour & Fly Back to Istanbul
After breakfast and check-out from your hotel around 09:30, you join the full-day Cappadocia Yellow Tour, sometimes known as a South Cappadocia tour. This day includes light hiking and beautiful valley views.
- Red Valley – Walk through a colorful valley famous for its red and pink rock tones, especially beautiful in the late afternoon light. Your guide explains how wind and water shaped these formations and points out hidden cave churches.
- Rose (Güllüdere) Valley – Enjoy gentle hiking along paths surrounded by soft rock cones and vineyards. This area is perfect for photos and gives you a quieter, more natural side of Cappadocia tours.
- Çavuşin Village – Visit an old Greek village with rock-cut houses and a cave church overlooking the valley. You see how people used to live in this mixed community before population exchanges in the 20th century.
- Pigeon Valley – Stop at a viewpoint to see the cliffs filled with pigeon houses carved into the rock. Pigeons were very important for locals, who used their droppings as natural fertilizer in the vineyards.
- Underground City – Explore one of Cappadocia’s underground cities. You walk through tunnels, rooms, kitchens and storage areas where people once hid from danger.
A local lunch is included during the Yellow Tour, giving you time to rest and recharge before your evening flight back to Istanbul.
At the end of the tour, you are transferred to Cappadocia airport (Kayseri ASR or Nevşehir NAV) for your return flight.
Evening flight from Cappadocia to Istanbul – You fly back to Istanbul (IST or SAW), completing your Istanbul Cappadocia Pamukkale Ephesus tour.
Exact departure and arrival times, airline and airport choices depend on availability and will be confirmed before ticketing.
On arrival in Istanbul, our driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel in the city center.

Customer Reviews
Quirky cave hotels but very comfortable. The heating worked well. I liked the local food, especially the pottery kebab. very tasty.
The guide in Pamukkale was so sweet. She took photos of me and my husband since we are bad at selfies. The thermal pool is a must try.
Good grief this was a good trip. The weather in December was cold but sunny. Less crowds than summer which was a huge plus. We had Ephesus almost to ourselves.
Also, the lunch place in Pamukkale had the best baklava I tasted on the whole trip. Not too sweet, just perfect. I wish I could ship some home!
I was too tired to do the balloon ride but the others said it was great. Watching them from the hotel terrace was also amazing and free! Breakfast was good.
Good investment of time and money. Turkey is cheaper than other european destinations but offers just as much history. The hotels were 4 star quality.
