Tour Itinerary
Pick-up before sunrise – We pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia (Göreme, Uçhisar, Çavuşin, Avanos, Ürgüp or nearby areas) in the early morning, usually about 60–90 minutes before sunrise. Exact pick-up time depends on the season and will be confirmed one day before the flight.

Transfer to the take-off area – After a short drive, you arrive at the hot air balloon launch site. You will see the crew preparing the balloons and lighting the burners as the sky slowly turns from dark blue to pink.
Safety briefing from your pilot – Before boarding, your licensed pilot gives a clear safety briefing. They explain how to get in and out of the basket, how to stand during take-off and landing, and what to expect during the Cappadocia hot air balloon flight. All flights follow Civil Aviation rules and are fully insured.
Take-off and climb above Cappadocia – You step into the basket and the balloon slowly leaves the ground. As you rise, you will see many other hot air balloons in Cappadocia around you, creating a beautiful scene. The pilot controls the height to find the best views and the smoothest wind.
Approx. 1 hour in the air – The standard flight offers around 60 minutes of air time, depending on wind and weather conditions. During the flight you will:

We had a clear morning with no clouds, could see all the way to the snow on the distant mountains. Even my little brother who is afriad of planes enjoyed the gentle way the balloon moves. Service from booking to drop off was smooth, even though my English messages had mistakes.
We flew lower over the valleys than I thought possible, almost touching the rocks in some spots. I have traveled a lot but this is one of those experiences I would repeate without thinking. Weather changed the first day and they rebooked us for the next morning with no drama.

The flames were loud at first but after a while the sound became part of the experience. We flew lower over the valleys than I thought possible, almost touching the rocks in some spots. My phone battery almost died from taking too many pictures during the flight.
