Tour Itinerary
Part 1: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight
Pre-Dawn Pick-up: We pick you up from your hotel roughly 1 hour before sunrise.
Note: Exact pick-up time is confirmed 1 day before the flight (usually 04:30 – 06:00 depending on season).
The Flight: Lift off for a magical 1-hour flight over the lunar landscapes. Seeing the sun rise over the valleys of Cappadocia is a bucket-list experience.
Celebration: After a smooth landing, enjoy a traditional celebration with a toast and receive your flight certificate.
Breakfast Break: We transfer you back to your hotel to enjoy breakfast and freshen up before the sightseeing tour.
Part 2: Cappadocia Highlights Tour
09:30 – 09:45 am Pick-up: Our guide picks you up from your hotel to start the “Highlights” route.
- Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley) is our first stop. The rock formations here naturally resemble animals, including the famous camel rock.
- Pasabag (Monks Valley) features the most photogenic mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. You can walk amongst the giant pillars where monks once lived.
- Zelve Open Air Museum is a highlight of this tour. It is a massive valley complex where Christians and Muslims lived together. You will explore cave houses, tunnels, and churches in a peaceful setting.
- Avanos & Red River is next. We visit the town of Avanos, situated on the banks of the Red River (Kızılırmak), Turkey’s longest river. We will take a photo stop by the river and cross the swinging bridge.
- Avanos Pottery Workshop allows you to see the local art form. You will watch a master potter shape clay from the Red River on a traditional kick-wheel.
- Lunch Break at a local restaurant with traditional Turkish dishes.
- Ozkonak Underground City is a fascinating historical site. Built on the slopes of Mt. Idis, this city has unique ventilation shafts and defensive holes above the tunnels.
- Leather Workshop is a great stop for fashion lovers. Cappadocia is famous for high-quality leather production. You will see a fashion show or visit the showroom to see stylish leather jackets and bags.
- Uchisar Castle (Panorama) is our final stop. We take photos at the foot of this giant rock fortress, which offers the best panoramic view of the region.
17:00 – Tour Ends & Drop-off
After the tour, we provide flexible drop-off options:
- To Hotel: We drop you back at your hotel to rest.
- To Airport: If you have an evening flight, we can transfer you to Kayseri (ASR) or Nevşehir (NAV) Airport. (Please arrange this with us at booking).
