Tour Itinerary
04:00 am – Hotel Pick-up in Istanbul
Our travel team picks you up from your hotel in Istanbul and transfers you to the airport.
(Note: Pick-up time may change slightly depending on your hotel location and flight time. We will use Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) based on availability).
07:00 am – Flight to Cappadocia
You fly from Istanbul to Cappadocia. The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sit back and enjoy the view as you cross from Europe/Marmara to Central Anatolia.
08:30 am – Arrival & Greeting
Upon landing at Cappadocia Airport (Kayseri or Nevsehir), our local team will welcome you at the exit gate with a sign bearing your name. You will be transferred to the tour starting point to meet your guide and group.
09:30 am – The Red Tour Begins
Your guided adventure covers the “North Cappadocia” region, famous for its rock formations.
- Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley): We start with a landscape that defies imagination. The pink rocks here are naturally shaped like animals. You can spot the famous “Camel Rock” and other whimsical forms created by wind and rain.
- Pasabag (Monks Valley): This is the best place to see the iconic fairy chimneys with mushroom-shaped caps. You can walk among these giant earth pillars where ancient monks carved their shelters to live in isolation.
- Avanos Pottery Workshop: We drive to the town of Avanos, located on the banks of the Red River (Kızılırmak). You will visit a traditional workshop to watch a master potter shape clay on a kick-wheel, a Hittite tradition that is 4,000 years old.
- Lunch Break: Enjoy a delicious open buffet or set menu lunch at a local restaurant, featuring authentic Turkish cuisine. (Vegetarian options available).
- Goreme Panoramic View: We stop at a spectacular lookout point. From here, you can see the entire Goreme village and the surrounding valleys. It is the perfect spot for panoramic photos.
- Zelve Open Air Museum: A highlight of the day. Zelve is an abandoned cave town spread across three valleys. You will explore rock-cut houses, a mosque, churches, and tunnels in a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
- Uchisar Castle (Exterior View): Our final stop is the highest point in the region. We pause at the foot of this massive natural rock fortress to take photos of its imposing structure.
17:00 – Tour Ends & Free Time
The tour concludes in the late afternoon. We will transfer you to the airport. Depending on flight schedules, you may have some short free time to grab a coffee or souvenir before the transfer.
21:30 – Return Flight to Istanbul
You fly back to Istanbul. (Flight time is subject to availability and seasonal schedules).
23:00 – Arrival in Istanbul
Upon arrival at the airport in Istanbul, our team will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel.

- Hot air balloons fly only one time in a day and it is sunrise time. If you want to see the hot air balloons, you need to stay at least one night in Cappadocia.
