Tour Itinerary
Early morning hotel pick-up – Before sunrise, we pick you up from your hotel in Göreme, Uçhisar, Ürgüp, Avanos, Çavuşin or nearby towns. Pick-up time depends on the season and sunrise, and will be confirmed one day before your Cappadocia hot air balloon tour.

Short drive to the launch site – You travel in comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles to the take-off area. On the way, you will see other hot air balloons in Cappadocia being prepared in the dark, which already creates a special atmosphere.
Check-in and light breakfast – At the office or launch area, you check in with the ground team and enjoy a simple breakfast with hot drinks and snacks. While you eat, you can watch the crew inflate the deluxe balloon and see the colors appear in the early morning light.
Safety briefing with your pilot – Before boarding, your licensed pilot explains everything you need to know: how to climb into the basket, how to stand during take-off and landing, and how to hold the safety positions. All flights follow Civil Aviation rules and are fully insured.
Take-off and climb into the sky – You step into the smaller deluxe basket, shared with up to 20 guests. As the burners warm the air, the balloon gently leaves the ground and rises above the valleys. Soon you are floating quietly in the air while the sun comes up over Cappadocia.
Around 60 minutes deluxe balloon flight – The flight time is similar to a standard hot air balloon ride Cappadocia, around one hour in the air (depending on wind and weather). During the flight you will:
- Glide close to the fairy chimneys and valley walls for unique photos.
- Enjoy wide, open views over Göreme, Uçhisar, Rose Valley, Love Valley or other famous areas, depending on the wind.
- Take advantage of the extra space in the deluxe basket to move a little and choose your favorite angle for pictures.
- See many other Cappadocia hot air balloons around you, creating a truly magical sunrise scene.
Landing and celebration – After about one hour, your pilot finds a safe landing spot and guides the balloon gently back to the ground, where the crew is waiting. Once you land, you step out of the basket and enjoy a small celebration with a non-alcoholic drink to mark your deluxe Cappadocia hot air balloon flight.
Flight certificate – At the end of the celebration, you receive a simple flight certificate with your name and the date of your flight, a nice souvenir from your Cappadocia hot air balloon tour.
Return transfer to your hotel – We then drive you back to your hotel in Cappadocia. You usually return early in the morning with time to rest, have breakfast at the hotel or join a day tour such as a Red, Green or private Cappadocia tour.
Important notes – All Cappadocia hot air balloon rides are weather dependent. The final decision to fly is made by the Civil Aviation Authority on the morning of the tour. If flights are canceled due to bad weather, you will get a full refund.

- Flight duration is similar to the standard option and is planned as around 60 minutes in the air, depending on wind and weather.
- All flights are strictly subject to suitable weather and Civil Aviation permission; if flights are canceled, you can choose a full refund.
- Exact pick-up time will be confirmed one day before your flight by e-mail or WhatsApp based on sunrise time and season.
- Please be ready in the hotel lobby at the confirmed time; vehicles cannot wait too long for late passengers.
- Children under 7 years old and pregnant guests are not accepted on the hot air balloon for safety reasons.
- Guests with serious heart, back, hip or knee problems should consult their doctor before booking and clearly inform us of their condition.
- Wear comfortable, closed shoes and layered clothing; early mornings in Cappadocia can be cold even in spring and autumn.
- Deluxe hot air balloon places are limited; early booking is strongly recommended, especially for high season dates.
