Day by Day Itinerary
Cappadocia Yellow Tour (Valleys & Underground City)
Meal: Breakfast and Lunch
09:30 am ─ After breakfast, we start the Cappadocia Yellow Tour. This day is perfect for seeing the colorful valleys and rural life.
- Red Valley is famous for its red-colored tuff rocks. It offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region.
- Rose Valley (Güllüdere) connects to the Red Valley and is filled with vineyards, apricot gardens, and ancient rock churches.
- Cavusin Village is an old Greek village. You can see the abandoned rock houses and the Church of St. John the Baptist high on the cliff.
- Lunch Break at a traditional restaurant.
- Pigeon Valley offers a lovely view of the pigeon houses carved into the cliffs near Uchisar. Pigeons were very important for agriculture in history.
- Underground City is a fascinating experience. You will descend into a subterranean city to see how people lived underground for protection.
17:00 ─ Tour ends and transfer back to hotel.

Cappadocia Green Tour & Return Flight to Izmir
Meal: Breakfast and Lunch
09:30 am ─ Breakfast and check-out from the hotel (bring your luggage). We depart for the Cappadocia Green Tour, exploring the southwestern region.
- Esentepe Panorama Point overlooks the town of Goreme. It is a great spot to say goodbye to the fairy chimneys with a panoramic photo.
- Derinkuyu or Kaymakli Underground City is the highlight of the day. These are the largest and deepest underground settlements in Cappadocia, with tunnels, stables, and chapels.
- Ihlara Valley is a deep, green canyon formed by the Melendiz River. We will enjoy a pleasant walk (light hiking) along the riverbank in nature.
- Belisirma Village is located in the middle of the canyon. We will have lunch here in a restaurant by the river.
- Yaprakhisar Panorama offers views of conical rock formations that look like “Star Wars” sets. It is a great final photo stop.
17:00 ─ The tour finishes.
We transfer you to the airport (Kayseri or Nevşehir).
Flight ─ Fly back to Izmir (Direct or via Istanbul).

As someone who loves exploring ruins, this was paradise. The underground cities are engineering marvels. The 4-day pace is perfect for photographers because you aren't rushing past everything. You have time to set up your shots. The light in the valleys in the morning is perfect. Highly recommend.
Cold but beautiful. Fewer tourists in December meant we had some sites almost to ourselves. The hotel heating was excellent. The flight connections were smooth. I appreciated the small group size. The open air museum is incredible, seeing the frescoes inside the caves.
If you have the time, definitely do 4 days instead of 2 or 3. You see so much more and you aren't exhausted at the end of it. We had time to shop for spices and ceramics without rushing. The guide was passionate about his country and taught us a lot. A wonderful experience.
Top class. The cave hotel was the real deal, carved into the rock. The itinerary is well balanced between history, culture, and nature. Ihlara Valley hike is a must and I'm glad this 4-day tour included it. Lunch by the river there was very relaxing.
We had a delay with our flight from Izmir (airline issue) but the transfer driver waited for over an hour for us, which was such a relief. The tour itself is spectacular. Four days allowed us to take it easy and really soak in the atmosphere. We did the balloon ride, the ATV sunset tour, and the Turkish night show. All were arranged by the agency easily.
