1. Hotel pickup before sunrise: Your driver collects you from your Cappadocia hotel while the region is still dark and transfers you to the operator check-in area. Pickup time changes by season because sunrise time moves throughout the year.
2. Launch field and preparation: The launch field is chosen on the morning of the flight according to wind direction and official permissions. While the balloons are inflated, the pilot and ground crew prepare the basket, fuel system and passenger loading order.
3. Balloon flight: The flight usually lasts about one hour, moving at different altitudes above valleys, village edges and fairy chimneys. The pilot controls altitude rather than direction, so each flight path is shaped by the morning wind.
4. Landing and certificate: After landing, the ground crew secures the basket and assists passengers safely out. A certificate or small memento is provided when available, and then you are transferred back to your hotel or connected to the next tour service.

2. Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground City: The exact underground city may vary by route operation, but both Kaymakli and Derinkuyu show multi-level shelter systems below the surface. You walk through tunnels, kitchens, storage rooms and ventilation shafts while the guide explains how communities survived there during periods of danger.
3. Ihlara Valley: Ihlara Valley is a green canyon carved by the Melendiz River, very different from the open plateaus near Goreme. The walk follows a manageable path where rock churches, river views and shaded sections make the landscape feel calmer and more natural.
4. Belisirma Village: Belisirma Village is used as a slower lunch stop inside or near the valley route. It gives the day a practical break after walking and lets you experience a quieter rural side of Cappadocia.
5. Yaprakhisar Panorama: Yaprakhisar Panorama opens toward dramatic volcanic cliffs and village scenery at the edge of the valley system. The viewpoint is a useful final landscape stop before the drive back to central Cappadocia.
