Meal - No meal included

Deluxe sunrise balloon flight - Pickup is arranged before sunrise, followed by passenger check-in, balloon preparation, pilot safety briefing, approximately 60 minutes in the air and return transfer after landing. The exact launch field is selected each morning according to wind direction and Civil Aviation rules.

Hotel pickup before sunrise: Your driver collects you from your Cappadocia hotel while the region is still dark and transfers you to the operator check-in area. Pickup time changes by season because sunrise time moves throughout the year.
Launch field and preparation: The launch field is chosen on the morning of the flight according to wind direction and official permissions. While the balloons are inflated, the pilot and ground crew prepare the basket, fuel system and passenger loading order.

Balloon flights operate only when Turkish Civil Aviation confirms safe flying conditions. If the balloon flight is cancelled due to weather, the balloon fee is refunded or, if there is availability, the flight can be postponed to the next day.
Deluxe flights use a smaller shared basket with a maximum of 20 passengers.
Wear closed shoes and bring a light jacket, especially in spring, autumn and winter mornings.
Pregnant guests and children under 6 years old cannot join hot air balloon flights.

Honestly the views are the same as the standard flight, you are paying for a less crowded basket rather than a different route. That said, the extra room was lovely and the morning was unforgettable, so no regrets at all.

We treated ourselves to the deluxe for a special birthday and it was perfect. With fewer people aboard the whole experience felt calmer and more personal, and the pilot gave us a generous, unhurried hour over the valleys as the sun came up. The smaller basket really does make a difference if you can stretch to it. Soft landing and a lovely toast to finish. We agonised over whether the upgrade was worth it and in the end have absolutely no regrets. The difference a smaller basket makes is real, you are not jostling for a sliver of railing, you simply stand and watch the world turn gold beneath you. The pilot, clearly a veteran, read the morning beautifully, taking us low into a gorge and then climbing for the wide sweep across the valleys with the other balloons drifting all around. He had time to talk to each of us, which on a packed flight never happens. Soft landing, sparkling wine, certificates, and the drive back as the region properly woke up. If you can stretch to the deluxe, do.
